We are currently looking for a Technical Analyst  to join our Quality Team.  This role is easily commutable from Buxton, Sheffield, Stockport, Chesterfield, Macclesfield, Mansfield and the surrounding areas.

Main Responsibilities

Reporting to the Quality Manager, as our Technical Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring a first-class Quality / Technical function is provided to serve the Lime business, as well as ensuring that support is available to Operational / Commercial staff and customers as required for customer queries, internal and external complaints, RCA investigations, sampling, testing and calibration schedules.

You will also ensure there is compliance with specifications and related quality assurance requirements at all times, including preparation and analysis of production materials and investigation and reporting of non-conforming results.  Implementing effective quality management procedures in a cost-effective manner.

The role of  Technical Analyst is a varied, complex and rewarding position that requires the following  qualifications:

  • Qualifications – Be able to demonstrate numeracy / literacy adequate to understand and manipulate technical parameters and prepare written reports with technical content (as a minimum GCSE level Maths, English and Science).
  • Skills & Knowledge – Good communication skills, Planning, organization and time management, Full driving license, Sound knowledge of the Lab Reporting Systems, Keyboard skills, familiarity of Word, Excel etc.

  • Skills & Knowledge – Good communication skills, planning, organisation and time management, keyboard skills, familiarity of Word, Excel etc.

We are currently looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance team at Tunstead.  This role is easily commutable from Buxton, Sheffield, Stockport, Chesterfield, Macclesfield, Mansfield and the surrounding areas.

Main Responsibilities

The key purpose of the role is to lead a safe and fully flexible team that can execute the daily, weekly and annual maintenance plan on time, to the required standard and in the most efficient way.

The Mechanical Supervisor has ownership and is responsible for the safe execution of all maintenance plans by ensuring all performance KPI’s are achieved or bettered.

To ensure that the Tunstead Mechanical Team / Team members have the required training, competence and authorisations to carry out their role.

Responsible for Effective safety management of the mechanical team.

Through effective annual objective setting, 1-2-1’s and performance management, the Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all behaviors and conduct of the Tunstead mechanical team meet or exceed the Buxton Lime Values.

To develop, manage and support “One Team” that executes the maintenance schedules across both Buxton Lime production sites, in the most efficient manner.

Support Tunstead Maintenance Manager to promote and deliver the Lime engineering Maintenance strategy.

To deputise for the Tunstead Maintenance Manager when required.

The role of Tunstead Mechanical Maintenance Supervisoris a varied, complex and rewarding position that requires the following  qualifications:

  • Qualifications – HNC in Mechanical engineering and maintenance, NEBOSH or IOSH qualification would be desirable.
  • Experience – Experience within the Lime processing industry or similar industries is essential, Demonstratable level of mechanical competency and training, Experience in the supervision and management of personnel.
  • Skills & Knowledge – Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, Financial management and budget control, Able to develop KPI’s and produce reports, Project management, Knowledge of RCA techniques.

Main Responsibilities

The Sales & Customer Services Advisor is responsible for managing our customers from enquiry to invoice.  This includes receiving and processing orders, query management, haulier management, credit and debit note generation, ordering of purchased materials and timely investigation and resolution of customer invoice queries and complaints.  The role is also responsible for delivering and exceeding targeted sales volumes, wallet shares and prices for designated UK and export accounts, assisting the external account managers and performing set administration tasks as required.  The roles also requires cross functional working relationships to ensure the best possible customer experience.

The role of Tunstead Sales & Customer Services Advisor is a varied, complex and rewarding position that requires the following qualifications:

  • Qualifications – Hold a minimum of 5 GCSEs, minimum grade 4 including maths, english and a science.
  • Experience – Proven experience in a customer accounts/service environment, working experience in a customer focused team in a fast-moving environment and a proven track record of delivering excellent customer service.

The Shift Supervisor has ownership and is responsible for the safe execution of production and autonomous maintenance schedules, ensuring that all shift KPIs are achieved or bettered.

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all SHE & security standards are achieved across the site.

The Shift Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that behaviours and conduct of everybody on site meet the Buxton Lime values.

The Shift Supervisor to act as Incident Controller in the event of an incident.

Although this is a “hands on” role, which will require the Shift Supervisor to operate plant, it is a first line management position.

The Shift Supervisor role is a varied, complex and rewarding position that requires the following  qualifications:

  • Qualifications – Already hold or working towards IOSH managing safely and Desirable: company recognized supervisory qualification
  • Skills & Knowledge – Desirable: Knowledge of lime manufacturing operations, daily leadership of team to execute all KPIs, be able to develop team, be able to identify and utilise strengths of individual team members, ability to run plant to standard operating procedures, confident and persuasive communicator at all levels, ability to assess SHE risk arising from activities and to respond accordingly, knowledge of site specific SHE procedures and safe working practices, continuous improvement tools and techniques and good verbal and written communication skills

Main Responsibilities

The Hindlow Ground Lime Plant Operator is responsible for operating the Hindlow Ground Lime Plant and loading vehicles manually and remotely, to operate the plant safely in an environmentally compliant manner and in the most efficient way to achieve the production output targets and will need to understand the quality parameters and ensure the product complies with customer requirements.

The role of Hindlow Ground Lime Plant Operator is a varied, complex and rewarding position that requires the following qualifications:

  • Qualifications – Have a commitment to maintaining and improving health, safety and environmental standards and you should already hold or be working towards IOSH Working Safely or higher.
  • Experience – Desirable: Experience in a chemical manufacturing and distribution process, have previous experience in an operational role in the process industry

Essential: Computer literate in Microsoft and Microsoft packages

  • Skills & Knowledge – Essential: ability to operate plant in accordance with standard operating procedures, Essential: ability to execute autonomous maintenance duties including cleaning, inspecting, lubrication, problem solving, communication, lime processing knowledge or relevant industry knowledge, decision making capability, ability to work to a schedule, business IT systems knowledge, ability to provide constructive feedback and have knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques
