Kalic HSD Liquid Lime
Kalic HSD is supplied as a ready made suspension of calcium hydroxide (Ca(OH)2) in water.
The calcium hydroxide component is made by the calcination of natural limestone to produce calcium oxide (CaO) with traditional lime burning techniques. Particle size, settling rate and flow characteristics are controlled in the production process to enable it to be handled as a liquid.
It is specifically used for the treatment of drinking water, to adjust the pH value of the water and for water softening processes.
